0:05.8	mistakes that I've made in the last 30 years as an entrepreneur. The mistakes you need to
0:11.4	avoid. And these are important ones,
0:13.0	so I hope you have a pen and a piece of paper,
0:15.0	and I hope you take this stuff seriously,
0:16.0	because I can help you avoid a lot of heartache
0:19.0	and a lot of lost sales,
0:21.0	a lost revenue, and get to where it is you want to go a lot faster.
0:27.0	The first mistake that I think I made was it took me too long to really accept and
0:36.0	understand the idea that I need to hire people and that that would save me money
0:41.6	and that it would save me money and that it would save me time.
0:43.2	I just believed, okay, I get it, I'm definitely going to hire people when I can afford to.
0:49.2	So if you've ever said that to yourself, like, oh, I'd love to hire people, I just can't
0:51.8	afford to right now.
0:52.8	It's an act of faith. It's faith in other people. It's faith in knowing that like
0:57.6	there's only you can be you and you can't outsource that. So know what it is that you need to outsource first and
1:05.8	outsource sooner than you think it makes sense to. Don't wait until you have a
1:10.7	surplus of cash before you start to hire. The faster you hire,
1:15.2	the quicker you're going to be able to hire your next person. The number two mistake I want you to
1:20.0	avoid making is failing to niche down even further. Anytime we've had a business that
1:27.3	struggled, any time I found myself looking at what other people were doing and saying to myself,
1:32.6	I don't understand, how come they're so successful
