Blue Liar. Welcome back. It's the big blue banter. New York Giants football podcast. I'm Dan Schneier, joined as always my co-host, Nick Bellato. And sorry for the break. I did a little thing called vacation. I know, you know, it's not as common on this podcast for us to take a week off, even in the dead of the off season for a team podcast. But there was vacation time for me. And I says, epit, I want to go on a vacation. So I went to Vegas, Nick, had a great time in Vegas. Some interesting stories. I think the most interesting story for me, went to summer league, saw Victor Wimbignana from about four rows back. Pretty incredible experience to see someone that he is massive. I mean,

0:39.8

when you talk about what you think he's going to be in the NBA, like next LeBron, all these

0:44.3

things, all I got to say about him is he is the longest player I've ever seen live on a

0:49.0

basketball court or any field or anything. He's a true like 7-6, and he moves up and down the court so well. I've never seen someone that tall be able to move and have that kind of flexibility. He went down on the court multiple times, got right back up, looked like, you know, when you see a big man with those kind of long legs go down, you're like scared every time something's going to happen. Greg Odin, like all the big men over there over the course of history. But he, I think he's different. I think he's built different, as they say. So it was cool to see when Mignon. The cool story I have from Vegas, the most interesting story I wanted to bring up, because it was definitely an interesting one. So what day was it? I think it was one of the last few days I was there, maybe Wednesday or Thursday, I was, I headed out to

1:27.9

in and out, because every time I go to Vegas, I get in and out and I get Raising Cains because I can't get those fast foods by me. And I'm not a huge fast food guy. Like I think Burgang McDonald's, Wendy's, all that are crap, but like the good ones, like those two, for example, I always try to get. So I head over to in and out. And for anyone who's been to that Vegas in and out

in between the link and I believe the Flamingo, you know that there's literally no seat in the house. So once you make your order, if you're trying to eat in and not dine out, you have to like scramble to find a table. And so usually there's like this counter space right by where like the condiments are that I set up on because I just know I can eat there. And so I set up on a counter space and I set up next to this lady. And she, she sits there and she has like all this stuff out, like a laptop, multiple bags. And there's like no room to put my food down or anything. She's like, you want me to move that? I'm like, no, it's okay.

2:18.2

I'll figure it out.

2:19.5

So I sit down and she goes, all right, I'm just a journalist trying to hide out from

2:23.7

the players right now.

2:24.5

She's there for Summer League.

2:25.8

So I'm like, okay, interesting.

2:27.1

Let me engage in this conversation with this woman and see where it goes because I like

2:30.0

meeting new people, Nick. I tend to do this a lot when I'm in public. I just like, or, you know, when I'm out, I just tend to like engage in conversations. I like meeting people. I like hearing their stories. This woman went on to talk a hundred miles a minute per hour a minute. I mean, I heard everything about her, her life story, everything. It was the most insane story. I don't want to give away her name right now because there's some crazy

2:50.9

stuff was going on in this conversation. So first of all, she's like ban. She's like shadow ban from

2:57.3

like YouTube and Twitter and Instagram and all this stuff. She has like things. She had told me

3:03.3

all this interesting things. But, but she's auntie to a player in the NFL, a high profile

3:09.7

player, who I can't bring up on the show, all this stuff to make it seem. The reason the story

3:13.9

was so interesting to me is I spent an hour talking to this lady. And you would think that like

3:18.9

based on what she said, Nick, that it was like a lie and she was kind of like, you know, not all

3:23.2

there in her head.

3:30.3

And but she had the most specific details about trades and all these players she's covered and crazy stuff that I can't even bring up on this podcast about the Giants, about the Knicks.

3:35.0

And like when you're that detailed, it can't be a lie.
