In a UN vote that would request for an immediate ceasefire, the US vetoed the resolution stating that there was no mention of Hamas

attacks.

We do not support this resolution's call for an unsustainable ceasefire that will only

plant the seeds for the next war.

A draft version of the resolution presented by the United Arab Emirates

had called for, quote, an immediate humanitarian ceasefire,

as well as, quote, the immediate and unconditional release of all

hostages. Meanwhile, calls for a ceasefire continue as protesters, takes the streets of New York.

But with a ceasefire is still out of reach, the horrors of war continue to unfold in Gaza,

most recently with the discovery of infant's bodies inside the

alna a C.C. you hospital ward. A video obtained by CNN showed the bodies of

at least four dead children, some still connected to the machines that were meant to keep them alive.

The children were left behind after hospital staff say they were forced to evacuate under

the direction of Israeli forces. Staff say they did not have a way to safely remove the

infants. The Israeli military has strongly denied responsibility for the

deaths of the children. The Texas Supreme Court has temporarily blocked a pregnant woman from obtaining an emergency

abortion in a ruling issue late Friday.

The court froze a lower court's ruling that would have allowed Kate Cox to obtain the procedure.

Cox had previously sued the state seeking a court ordered abortion.

The court noted the case would remain pending before them, but did not include a timeline on when a full ruling might be

issued. Cox is currently 20 weeks pregnant. Texas has largely banned abortions
