In a stark reversal, President Biden is allowing the construction, his administration

is allowing construction of a new section of the border wall in southern Texas.

President Biden had strongly criticized Trump's border policy in 2020 he vowed to not build

another foot of the wall if he were elected.

But this administration has been struggling to deal with rising numbers of illegal border

crossings, which they say makes this move necessary.
