It is the Monday after week nine, a day before the first playoff rankings will come out.

And Bruce, this past Saturday, saw quite the narrowing down of undefeated teams out there.

We had seven undefeated teams go on the road, and I believe four lost.

I guess I would ask, which one of the undefeated teams that lost surprised you the most?

You know what? I think Craig Ball is a terrific coach at Wyoming, and Boise had struggled

the previous couple of weeks, but I was surprised to see them go down the way they did.

Ah, but if you had read my picks column, you would have seen that that was the upset special.

Congratulations to you. We both got our upset specials.

For some reason, Missouri was, the spread was what it was, and I felt pretty confident that

Kentucky was going to win that game.

I had had a couple rough picks weeks before that, but this was a good week because I got

that and Texas beating Baylor.

By the way, I noticed your record on the season is... Oh, you want to talk about rough weeks. I mean, last... This past week, I think I went 8 and 4. It was the first good week I've had picking against the spread since the opener. And so you were what? It's like 16 under 500? I don't know if it was it 16 or 14.

I think it was 14 under.

Yeah.

I mean, the previous two weeks, our friend Ralph Russo, I think he had tweeted that he went

3 and 19 against the spread the week before.

I want to say that same week I might have gone 3 and 8 against the spread.

I had a week a couple weeks ago where I went 1 in 10 against the spread. But up until week, a couple weeks ago, where I went one in ten against the

spread, but up until that, I think I was about 62% against the spread. So you knew it was
