And when you read the article in the Tampa Bay Times, it serves to make you happy for him,

but it is depressing because it looks like USF is undergoing exactly what I would like

to see happen here. Derek Brooks is hiring comes two months after Tampa Bay Sports

Commission executive director and USF alumnus, as it turns out, Rob Higgins, was hired to replace the

athletic director, our old friend Michael Kelly.

And he had what was now considered to be, or what is considered to be, a rebranded title

that is CEO of athletics.

Now we're talking.
