Good afternoon, everybody. Happy Friday, October 3rd to you here 2025. I got all of your

stories for your rush hour ride home, and we got a lot to

talk about. We got Taylor Swift, Blake lively. We've got the government shut down. We've got the

Bachelor DUI. I mean, there's a ton to break into here. We're going to start right away with the

Taylor Swift News, the song that might be about Blake lively. Some people disagree. My overall thoughts on the album, I always find it interesting. I don't call myself a Swifty,

but I always find it interesting how people are so emotional when they receive an album.

Some people are really upset. It didn't meet the mark and the expectations are so high.

I think with music, there's this dopamine rush that comes from like knowing the lyrics to your song. You know, whatever that anthem is that you sing at the sweet Caroline, I don't, uh-oh, oh, you know, you release this love when you know a song and there's, you know, it takes some familiarity. So maybe you listen to the album a couple times and you go, yeah, there's three or four hits on there. You're not going to bat a thousand, right? Either way, I don't have any defense of Taylor Swift.

I just find it interesting that how beloved she is, that her fan base, you know, will buy tickets

all over the world to see her and wait till midnight to have a glass of wine and listen to the album. And it's cool. It's cool.

So much credit to the Swifty crowd for having passion all these years with art. But the question is,

is the song canceled about Blake lively? We already made our video this morning about that.

And who the hell knows? Taylor does a great job of giving enough breadcrumbs to make it

appear that way. It seems obvious the Gucci reference, the flour reference to the florals,

although the whiskey reference doesn't exactly hit as Blake Lively did have an alcohol brand,

but she doesn't drink. So maybe it's not whiskey. Who knows? It could apply. It's one of those things. I have no idea

if that's about Blake lively, but I do find it interesting. People on Reddit have been mixed on it.

Someone said, if canceled really is about Blake, I don't see how it's supporting her. If anything,

it's admitting there was no harassment or smear campaign. It's about someone being canceled because of their own actions.
