Hey friends. Welcome. Welcome to a special edition of the line of fire. I know it's Friday,

but I'm not taking calls today. Instead, we're digging into the scriptures,

questions that were posted on Twitter and Facebook. I solicited them Wednesday night.

And there's some great, great questions, really fascinating. So sit back, enjoy the broadcast. And we're going to start over on Twitter

where I asked the question, hey, post for me your best Bible questions, Hebrew, Greek questions,

and we're going to dive in on the show.

So we're going to start with a question from Matthew. Regarding First Kings, 19, 9, that's where

Elijah goes in the cleft of the rock and in a cave, and God speaks to him. Are you aware of a Jewish

source predating Miguelah 19B, so this is in the

Babylonian Talmud, that teaches that the cave Elijah was in, was in the same, was one and the same

as the cleft Moses was in. Okay, Matthew, I'm not aware of any Jewish source before this, before what's

recorded in Migila 19b. Now, again, Babylonian Talmud, it can be passing on a tradition that

goes back to the times of Jesus. It could be passing on a tradition that comes four or

500 years after the time of Jesus. So tumulting dating is notoriously difficult. But a source earlier

than this, no, I'm not aware of any. They may exist, but I'm not aware of them. Now, what's
