It's really, really raining today outside.

So we're getting a lot of bit of rain, a lot of rain, but it will be dying down later on this afternoon.

They said, and we're actually going to get a cold front in. So that'll be nice. And some comedy that I just was reading

this morning is the Biden administration is now hoping that fines and posed on carriers at the nation's

busiest port will ease the intensifying back, backing up, the jamming up of the cargo ships.

The twin ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach now will be charging carriers $100 per day per container compounded each day, lingering past a given timeline starting November 1st so what that means is

the port is going to start charging the transporters the cargo ships for each container that is

delayed essentially after November 1st a $100 per day compounded.

So what that means is it's $100 the first day, $200 the second day, $300 the third day, $400 the

third day, $400 the fourth day.

By the fifth day, the fines up to $1,500 per container that the ports will be fining these transporters.

Now, obviously, you've seen the ships.

You see that they'll have containers that are piled up, you know, five, six, seven,

eight containers high in sometimes, more than that.

And so it doesn't take a mathematician to realize you're going to be talking about fines in the hundreds of thousands of dollars if these container ships get delayed and cannot get properly into the port because of logistics, because of the lack of crane operators, because of the vaccine mandates, because of individuals not showing up for work

they're now blaming the cargo ships for it that are sitting out there at more basically waiting

to bring stuff in and obviously the container ships aren't going to carry the cost they're going to

pass it on to the importer well and of course the importers are going to pass it on to
