For a homeowners association. Two neighborhoods ago I lived in, that was probably about $500 a year. And it was one annual payment? That was, yeah, yeah. You could pay it whenever you felt like it, I guess. I don't remember how it worked. It was about $500 a year. Yeah, they can take actions such as issuing fines, restricting access to common areas,

placing a lien on your property or even foreclosing on your home for non-payment of dues

or repeated rule violations.

Once again, like I said, a lot of that money is for common areas, you know, mowing certain

areas of the neighborhood that nobody owns, but it's part of the neighborhood. Do neighborhoods elect a person to lead to HOA? I think they do. If you ever see me in HOA meeting, just put a bullet in my head. My current neighborhood does not have an HOA board, which I'm glad I thought it might. When I first moved here, it looks like one of those kind of neighborhoods would have an HOA, but they don't. Yeah, it makes me glad I'll never own a house. Silver lining. Or look somebody in the eye. Yeah. Silver lining, you know. Can't wait to just plug in to a computer and live the rest of my life that way.
