Over the weekend, it crawled through the Caribbean at just one mile an hour, while rapidly intensifying to a category four at its core. Forecasters expected to tip

the scales as a cat five with winds of at least 157 miles an hour before turning and possibly

making a direct hit on Jamaica tomorrow. Whether it lands as a four or a five doesn't matter. It will

still be the strongest storm the island has ever seen.

Forecasters predict rain that can be measured in feet, not inches, along with catastrophic flooding,

widespread power outages, disruption of self-service, and impassable roads. After Jamaica,

the storm could head to Haiti and Cuba. At this point, the U.S. mainland is not at risk
