The origination of the term Alley Upe Tom Alley Upe did not begin in the sport of basketball.

Alley Upe was used to describe a play that was developed in the 1950s in football by San

Francisco.

They had a six foot three crazy hops wide receiver named RC Owens that they would throw it up

to.

And that was the origination of Alley Upe and then later on people used it to describe

basketball players on whoops, I didn't have any idea that RC Owens RC Owens easy name

to remember.
