Good morning and welcome to Kid News. I'm Tori. Today is Monday October 22nd, 2018 and we begin with an East Coast West Coast showdown.

The Los Angeles Dodgers face off against the Boston Red Sox for game one of the world series tomorrow night

Boston has the best record in baseball won a hundred and eight games

16 more than Los Angeles cruise through the post season and is the odds on favor to win.

But as you may remember, that's exactly where the Dodgers were last year when they made it to the World Series only to fall to the

underdog Astros in game seven. Two Hollywood A-Listers are casting a bit of a

spell over Disney.

Actress Kristen Bell still reads Snow White to her kids,

but make sure they know that kissing a sleeping woman is not okay

and that they shouldn't take an apple,

like Snow White did from the witch without

knowing where it came from. Another actress, Kira Knightley, takes issue with

Cinderella because the character waits around for a rich guy to rescue her.

And of The Little Mermaid, Knightley tells her girls

to never give up their voice for a man.

Reaction has been swift and divided.

Some say these are classic fairy tales. Let it go.

While others applaud Bell and Knightley for helping frame the message for their kids.

The midterm elections are just 15 days away and that means campaigning is kicking into high

gear with big name boosters crisscrossing the country.

President Trump stumps in Texas today while former President Obama takes his message to Nevada.
