Today is Monday, October 20th, 2025. And we begin with a brazen daylight heist and whodunit from the most

famous museum in the world. In just seven minutes yesterday, thieves broke into the Louvre in Paris

and made off with priceless crown jewels belonging to Emperor Napoleon. The robbers who police say

were obviously experienced used a crane to lift them to the

second floor where they broke a window, smashed display cases, and escaped on scooters with nine

priceless pieces, including a necklace, a brooch, and a tiara. One, a crown once worn by Napoleon's

wife, Empress Eugenie, was dropped, broken, and found by police.

The Louvre is home to the Mona Lisa, which was also once stolen, but then recovered back in

1911. French politicians are calling this latest caper, which will no doubt someday be made

into a movie, a national humiliation.
