2020 and we begin with a mighty bright yellow robot reporting for duty in

Los Angeles. The RS3, short for robot

Solution 3, is California's latest high-tech weapon in its fight against

historic wildfires. The miniature tank-like machine is a technological marvel.

Not only can it spew 2,500 gallons of water per minute,

it's powerful enough to move cars out of its way and even pull a stranded horse.

It's also being touted as a potential lifesaver.

Operated by remote control from up to a quarter mile away,

the RS3 can safely enter burning buildings

when conditions are too dangerous for real firefighters. The LAFD is the first in

the nation to own one, but New York and Texas aren't far behind.

America's remote controls are about to get a workout.

With tonight's presidential debate cancelled, both candidates opted for live and as it turned

out, competing town hall events.

Instead of sharing a stage, they'll be in two different cities, on two different networks

at exactly the same time.

Former Vice President Biden's campaign

was the first to arrange an event in Miami

to air live at 8 p.m. eastern on ABC.

Yesterday, Mr. Trump's campaign announced he too would appear live in front of an audience,

but in Philadelphia and on NBC.
