Good afternoon fellow investors and welcome back to Invest Talk.

This is our Wednesday, October 12, 2022 edition of Invest Talk.

We are now into the fourth quarter and we remain in a volatile market and whether the

weather is beginning to change and you might want to be sure that you are paying attention

to the changing of the markets, not just in the near term, but in the long term we're

entering a new phase where a long duration assets are going to struggle.

Companies that have valuable bits in the sky are going to be less valuable and companies

that have solid business models and molecules, shall we say, that we need to run our daily

lives.

Those are going to be valued more so than they have been in the past.

And so this is a new market regime, a new market environment which means you have to keep

your eyes wide open and understand the risks of all the investments that you're holding.

Understand different types of investment risks, their currency risks, their duration risk,

their market risk, their company's specific risk, their credit risk, there's a lot of

different types of risk that every investment has various levels of exposure to.
