Golden Gophers. He's in his eighth season there. He's 5 and 0 in bowl games,

Watt, Minnesota. He was the 2019 Big 10 coach of the year. Minnesota coming off that big win over

number 11 USC. They're 3 in 3 overall. They're 1 and 2 in Big 10 play. And they take on UCLA on Saturday.

How are you doing there? I'm doing it, Jim. Thanks for having us back on the show, man. And I tell you,

I love all your podcasts. You've been doing a great job, expanding all that. Just credit to you,

man. It's been fun to follow you. PJ, I appreciate you so much. Thank you for saying that. And I say the same thing about you,

and it is really good to see you and have you back on the program. Listen, I know you've turned

the page. I know you're focused on UCLA, but I've got to get you to go back to USC for one minute.

When you look at that fourth and goal from the one in the final Instead, you go for it and you score TD. It was so close, PJ, that it had to be

reviewed. Can you take me through the thought process? Why did you decide to go for it and not kick it?

That's a great question. I mean, you've been answering that question pretty much all week. And,

you know, it was a pretty simple call when it's all said and done. If you peel back the onion a

little bit, we got three takeaways on defense, but they pretty much went down the field for 380 yards in every single one of their

possessions. We had to limit possessions. And when you look at it, we weren't stopping them,

but we were creating some takeaways. And I figured with a minute left with no timeouts,

USC is one of the most explosive teams in the country. If they march down the field, they only got to go 70 yards in a minute.

They're one of the best two-minute teams in the country with some of the best passers,

one of the best core of wide receivers out there.
