Summary

From my "8-Episode Remake for 2025" from my original podcast mini series I launched back in 2020 that turned Selling on Amazon with Andy Isom into one of the top Amazon podcasts in the world.

In this kickoff episode of my updated Amazon FBA mini-series, I break down why now is still one of the best times to start selling on Amazon—even in 2025.

Discover the opportunities behind Amazon FBA, why it’s still one of the most powerful side hustles, but what it takes to succeed in 2025.

I share key insights on how the Amazon marketplace has evolved, what’s changed since the early days, and why strategic execution beats a "perfect" product idea every time. If you’ve been thinking about starting an Amazon business or need the motivation to take the leap, this series is here to help.

Key Topics Covered:

  • Why Amazon is still a good opportunity in 2025 for the right people
  • How beginners can start with minimal risk
  • The mindset shift needed to build a sustainable side hustle

0:24.2

But here's what I've learned.

0:25.1

If you're willing to play smart, adapt, and outwork the average seller, Amazon can still be

0:30.0

one of the best ways to build mostly passive income.

0:33.4

Mostly passive meaning you don't have to work 40 hours a week to earn $60,000 a year from this.

0:39.3

Still, to this day, we spend very little time on our own brand that does well over a million

0:43.7

dollars a year.

0:44.5

But this isn't a get rich quick thing.

0:46.6

I hate even saying that phrase, but let me be clear, it takes work and it's not all sunshine.

0:52.4

But again, if you're ready to put in the effort and not just

0:55.4

copy what everyone else is doing, you can and will make it. Let's go back to why I started this

1:00.5

in the first place. In 2020, I thought that having a full-time job is great, but what if that

1:05.6

stability isn't as stable as we think? I wanted a side hustle that was more than just extra

1:10.3

cash. I wanted something that would give was more than just extra cash. I wanted

1:11.0

something that would give me options, real independence. And Amazon at the time felt like the answer.
