I was letting the overwhelm of creating a podcast get in the way of actually starting this for months now. So here I am,

just pressing record and doing the thing. Now, repeat after me. Done is better than perfect.

If there's one thing I've learned over the last year and a half as an entrepreneur,

making the commitment to start before you're ready is the key to success. When I was thinking

about quitting my 9 to 5,

my friend reminded me that opportunities only come to those who are available to receive them.

When you jump, the net will appear, but not a moment before. It's that first leap of faith that

most people are never willing to take. But here's what you need to know. The only true failure is letting your fears hold you back from failing at all.

In fact, these days, I look for opportunities to fail.

Because when I fail, I know I'm at least trying.

Failure is truly the best teacher and imperfect action is better than no action at all.

But before I start to sound like a list of clichés, let me tell you a little more about my own journey from cubicle to CEO and how I hope this podcast will serve you and yours.

So my story actually starts at age five.
