My name is Corey Malloy and I'm here with my co-host

Fallon Lee. We are pumped that you are here. This has been such a long time in the

0:30.1

works and at first off that is so awesome for each of you that are joining us and taking a time to listen to this intro.

0:36.8

I know not everyone does that on a podcast and I so appreciate you guys making the effort to get to know us and what we're about here. So we're going to make it worth your time. We will be sharing a little bit about our stories and our heart behind this podcast, but let's start with just like how Fallon and I got connected in the first place and how this even came about.

0:55.0

Fallon, do you remember how we originally met?

0:57.6

Yes, so I went to school with your sister-in-law, Courtney, who is one of my best friends in college, and she connected us because of this really pivotal moment in my healing where I went from eating seven foods to greatly expanding my diet, and I posted about it on my Instagram feed and I think Courtney must have sent it to you and you were like oh my gosh this is one of the craziest healing stories I've ever heard I've got to have you come on my blog and share your story and from there it just kind of spiraled into this distance friendship, which is so awesome. We met in person one time, like a long time ago, and that's basically the only time we've ever connected in person.

1:33.0

Literally, that was it.

1:35.0

And like kind of due to the nature of building a friendship and business partnership long distance,

1:40.0

because I live in Hawaii and Fallon lives in Texas. We always joke that our entire relationship has basically been like these

1:46.4

monologues to each other because we communicate 99% of time via voice message and

1:52.4

anyways we were laughing so hard because we were just like, are we about to sit down and have an actual conversation with each other for the first time instead of our normal, you know, soapboxes? I think we are. So yeah, we met in my brother's wedding years ago, totally different life stages back then and when my sister-in-law sent me that post that Fallon had just mentioned, I was like at the time going through my own healing journey of reversing and healing my chronic disease and there weren't a lot of similar stories out there at the time. I mean my healing journey was actually the very first time that my eyes were open to kind of our health care system model and big pharma and just kind of the brokenness of it and you know insurance companies and how Western medicine is the wrong tool in the toolbox when it comes to, you know, root cause treatment and healing disease and dysfunction at, you know, at its root.

2:41.0

So my friends and my family and the internet

2:44.3

where I was sharing my story at the time.

2:46.5

It was kind of pretty radical back then

2:48.1

and out there, especially for endometriosis.

2:52.0

So I was so stoked to hear another story. for for me is to hear like 30 stories about men and women, you know, putting their disease into

3:04.8

remission now that I've kind of entered into this metabolism world and have just seen what humans

3:10.3

are capable of doing when they understand their physiology a little better.

3:14.8

So ever since Fallon and I did that blog interview together like years ago, we kind of continued
