So, all right, first Timothy chapter two, here's how it begins. First of all, then I urge

Now, before we go any further, I know we're breaking up a sentence because this is the end of the verse,

but nevertheless, it's just important to emphasize a couple things.

Number one, when Paul talks about all these different sorts of prayers, supplication, prayer, intercession, thanksgivings, he's not necessarily saying it in such a way that you have to go down a list when you pray to make sure that you do all these things.

Rather, the idea is this is just what happens in the language of prayer.

This is what happens when one does come to the Father. We do supplicate him with our needs.
