We are in our second conversation looking at the letter of first Thessalonians.

Yet that word was functioning in them so powerfully because Jesus was working in them that they became this church that was resilient through the suffering that they had to go through because of the

local persecution. And Paul is writing to them thanking God for the word that's been at work within them.

how it's God working in us that really sanctifies and transforms us and makes us resilient through suffering.
