Calvary Church is dedicated to doctrine, and we want you to experience the life change that comes from knowing God's word and applying it to your life.

Thanks, Lord, for getting us together again.

It is always a reunion of sorts to be able to gather those of us who have a deep hunger to learn to experience the scriptures together. We want to grow in grace and we want to

grow in knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ. Like the Thessalonians, we are receiving your word

as it really is, a word from God, a word from heaven.

And we pray that we would not only grow in knowledge and grace, but grow in our walk with

you, grow in our obedience to you, and our effectiveness for your glory.

We pray that through this simple act of obedience of listening to the written word being spoken

and being taught, we pray, Father, that you would minister to our conditions, our questions, our issues,

bring comfort, challenge, and maturity.

We ask it in Jesus' name.
