Well, welcome to the Read Scripture podcast.

0:02.7

We're just trying something new, experimenting.

0:06.1

Right now we've got thousands of people who are reading the same passages of scripture

0:11.0

every day and we're walking through the Bible in a year and so we thought

0:15.8

it might be helpful to just every week you know I'll either be interviewing someone

and you can see how God acted

1:20.0

1:22.0

whereas in the new testament you really only have about a hundred years of history there.

1:26.7

And if you're talking about the same God, wouldn't it be wise to spend a lot of time in the Old Testament learning about his character, learning about his actions,

1:37.1

and seeing how they flow right into the New Testament.
