And then, I mean, verse 13 is just so surprising because as Sam, I can't remember exactly

how you described it, but basically David is, is ready to go kill this guy. He's at risk of

becoming a Saul-like king. I mean, this has evocations of what we saw in chapter 22 when

Saul has his men, he orders his men to kill the priest at Knop.

Yeah.

And we've never seen behavior like this before.

All right, so guys, last week we talked about those miscreants from Zip.

We talked about the mercy of David.

He did not kill Saul, though he had every opportunity to.

And we talked about that one time that King Saul walked down the aisle and prayed a prayer, as Sam described it.

But he didn't really mean it.

Today, we're going to cover the next two chapters, 1 Samuel 25 and 26. And I would say,

you know, reflecting on what we've read so far since David has come on the scene, at least,

I think he gets probably an A plus on the obedience scale, right? Like he's been, he's been pretty

blameless. I think the test he faced last week was, you know, one that I don't think I would have passed,

but he passed. He did not touch the Lord's anointed. He trusted the Lord. Now, question for you
