in our story in 1st Samuel chapter 20. Saul is chasing David and trying to kill him

and David doesn't know why. In our story we will learn why and we will

First Samuel this evening open up your Bible for

our teaching tonight beginning in chapter 20 of First Samuel. We left off seeing David on the run. David, a man after God's own heart, David already anointed to be the king of Israel.

David, one who caused Saul, who was the present king to feel intimidated, jealous, and worried about David.

Consequently,

Saul was out to destroy him. Most of you know the story.

We pick up in verse 1 of chapter 20.
