1:25.3	that they would encounter by having a king, but Israel was insistent on getting their
1:30.8	way. So God gave them a king, Saul. He was a guy who started off well, but then things
1:38.1	changed. Let's now join Pastor John and see how this story unfolds.
1:44.0	First Samuel chapter 12, the people of Israel
1:50.0	insisted upon having a king like all of the nations that were surrounding them.
1:57.0	God had been and still wanted to be their king obviously.
2:09.0	But the people wanted to fit in and be like the nations that surrounded them. And so they pressed this issue.
2:18.6	They requested a king, a person who could be king over them.
