Guys welcome to our very first episode of Private Moments. Basically these are five minute episodes

where we round up all of our favourite guests and our favourite moments. So each episode of our private moments

we're going to get things with good advice, things that are interesting, things that are funny, things that are different.

We're doing we're doing little five minute clips. So if you haven't listened to...

...proud private moments. Yeah so for example we're kicking it off with one of our favourite episodes

with our good old buddy and quizmaster, the one only Richard.

Osman. Richard, I keep seeing his books everywhere.

Do he's killing everyone's kitchen tables? Yeah yeah yeah.

And toilets. So Richard made fun of my book that I wrote.

This is the one where I gave Richard my book. He didn't even make fun of it, he just read excerpts from it.

He read chapter eight. He read chapter eight. And he also chatted about the fact that the photo shoot on the front cover

was where I was tied to a chair. So guys these are little private moments they're going to have.

And if you want to go and listen to the full episode it's obviously you can but these are just little snippets for your absolute delight.

Age is such an interesting thing because stereotypically we have this idea that we're meant to do everything when we're young

and then when we're old we do. But actually that's just not the case now.

You know for example with your books for example. You wrote your first fictional book, 2020.

Yeah so I was yeah yeah it's 49. It was about cricket. I hadn't I hadn't I hadn't

I hadn't presented a TV show until I was 40 that was entirely unexpected. And yeah and I'd always wanted to write.

And I suspect if I had written books in my 20s they wouldn't have been very good.

And so to be able to write a book at 49 which I loved and I'm very proud of it's called Thursday Murder Club.
