man, what a weekend it was and we're

going to get into everything here on the podcast with my friend Paul Burmister

from NBC Sports you'll also hear an interview I did in Jacksonville on

Friday with the number one pick in the draft Trevor Lawrence and I'm also going to

bring you a couple of revealing snippets

from a conversation I had on Saturday with San Francisco,

coach Kyle Shanahan, who I thought was very revealing on why he picked Trey Lance over Mac Jones.

So we'll get to all that.

But Paul first, there is so much to talk about in the wake of a really, really interesting draft and I think it would be good for us to sort of start with where exactly the Aaron Rogers thing stands right now and I think I would

just say that I think we are in for a long stalemate.

I don't think this is going to be over soon.

I think that Rogers is going to stick to his guns that he wants out.

And I think the Packers are basically going to say look you signed a

contract you've got time left on your contract you need to live up to that

contract now you and I both know that Rogers on one end of the

spectrum you'd call him principal on the other end of the spectrum some people

might call him stubborn.

But I don't think he's going to relent.
