Hi there, this is Mary DeMuth and this is Pray Every Day where I pray through the Bible verse by verse with intention and joy and so much thankfulness.

So grateful to be here today and I just want to pray for someone who is battling migraines.

I do have a friend that does that and so I will pray for him specifically. But if that's you,

take this prayer to heart. Lord Jesus, I pray for my friend Gary, who battles migraines. And they've

been there for many, many years. I just pray for alleviation for that and help him to find relief.

And I pray you would heal him. And I pray that the next time it happens it would be less

give him and the doctor's insight into what this is and just be with them I pray in Jesus' name

amen.

All right, today I'm reading for 1st Peter, chapter 1 verses 13 through 25 in the world

English Bible, and this is what it says.

Therefore prepare your minds for action.

Be sober and set your hope fully on the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation

of Jesus Christ.

As children of obedience, not conforming yourselves according to your former lusts, as in your ignorance,

but just as he who called you as holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior, because it is written,

You shall be holy, for I am holy.

If you call on him as Father, who, without respective persons, judges according to each man's

work, past the time of your living as foreigners here in reverent fear, knowing that you were

redeemed, not with corruptible things like silver or gold, from the useless way of life handed

down from your fathers, but with precious blood as of a lamb without blemish or spot,

the blood of Christ,

who is foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world,
