Last week, business insider released a hit piece on Dave Portnoy,

the founder and president of Barstool Sports, which details the accounts of women

who allegedly said they had, and I quote this,

frightening and humiliating and quote sexual experiences with him.

Dave is fighting back against what he says is character assassination.

All right, Dave, I gotta get started at the beginning here.

First and foremost, I have to say as a seasoned media hit vet, which is what I am,

I thought it was kind of sweet watching you kind of fall down,

like, what's going on?

How could they actually be doing this?

It's like, I mean, this is what the mainstream media actually is now, you know?

Well, yeah, and I mean, I don't want to my own horn.

I don't know if it's too naive, I'm also a seasoned veteran of the pieces.

It's never escalated to this point.

So it's surprised, I guess, when it first struck to see that.

I mean, I knew something was in the works,

but even I was taken aback when I read the headlines.

But yeah, I was a little bit, I was a little bit taken aback because

usually I'm used to the normal stuff and all the normal stuff was in there.

But they, I mean, they basically called me a rakeist.
