Welcome to the Dr. Berg's Healthy Keto and Interminute Fasting podcast, where Dr. Berg takes you on the journey for the truth about getting healthy and losing healthy weights.

0:27.8

Let's talk about the number one most important nutrient for diabetic symptoms.

0:34.3

Now, I could also name this presentation as the number one most important nutrient for losing weight or burning fat because they're both directly related.

0:39.6

Now, first, let me just touch on diabetic symptoms. Okay, we're talking about a situation where

0:45.1

you have high blood glucose, high blood sugar. And when you have high sugar, you're also

0:50.3

going to have insulin resistance. You're going to have either high or low insulin.

0:55.5

1:36.8

And the minute that we tried to interject some communication, there was no listening. It was

1:42.8

basically a one-way flow of constant communication

1:48.2

towards us. And after a while, we're kind of like phasing out and we're ready to go. And so when

1:56.1

there's just talking and no listening, we don't have communication. Same thing happens in the body.

2:01.9

When there's too much communication, like too much insulin, the cells are going to phase out.

2:08.5

They're no longer going to be receptive to that communication. And that's what insulin resistance is.

2:14.3

So we have a person on a high carb diet. They're stimulating a lot of insulin.
