We talked about how the transition from David to Solomon reminded us of the transition from Moses to Joshua.

If you remember, the charge was basically watch out for Joab and Shimeh and be kind, show covenant kindness, you would even say,

to the sons of Barzalai. More you could say about that. But by the, you know, we only covered

about half a chapter. So by First Kings chapter 2 verse 12, King David is dead and King Solomon's
