I think it's worth pointing out that in 1st Kings 1425 here, we're in the fifth year of King

Rehoboam. So this is really relatively soon after Solomon. And already there is an encroachment

on the temple and a plundering, a defeat of Israel that results in a plundering of the wealth of the temple.

And that would probably have involved the defiling of the temple courts with dead bodies.
