What's going on, fellas? Today we were looking at the number one fantasy draft strategy for this year.

I've done 30 plus drafts so far to this point. And this is what I have uncovered.

And I'm going to show you the exact strategy right now in a live draft. So I'm in an underdog draft right now.

I just got the fifth spot drafting with a lot of people in the discord. It's free. You can get in below if you want to. So the fifth spot's a good spot. This is my general strategy.

For the first round, I want to secure a running back and then as the rounds go on from there,

load up on wide receivers. Wide receiver in round two, three, four, maybe five, but right around

that five, six round, I'm either going to be looking for a second running back or a quarterback.

This is the plan, but plans change as you get through the draft and people take all

the great wide receivers right before you, maybe you have to pivot.

But the reason for all of this is because when you look at the data from the last decade

or so, your hit rates on wide receivers in rounds five through six and sometimes seven aren't

that great.

Your running back hit rates are not that great from rounds three and four in part of round

five, but in six and seven, they're actually somewhat better because you're finding value there.

So this draft starts, and as expected, you're going to see Jonathan Taylor go. Cooper Cup goes as

the wide receiver one. I actually have free rankings. They're in Discord as well. I'll be using

those for this. I actually have Christian McCaffrey as the running back one. It's a coin flip, whichever one you want to go to. We don't have to debate it all that much. I am one pick away,

and so far you've seen Jamar Chase go number three. So I might actually get, and I did,

I get Christian McAfree to drop to me as the fifth overall pick. So this is an easy decision. And now that we get Christian McCaffrey,

it makes it so much easier. It's not like three or four running backs went and we had to decide

on if we wanted to take Najee Harris that early. No, it makes it so much easier now to just go out

there and snag whatever I want at wide receiver. And these are my rankings. A couple more players went. Stefan Diggs, Devante Adam, Alston Eckler is my running back three overall.
