The Hello everybody, ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, welcome to the first edition of my podcast, Who's Paying Attention? This is Alonzo Bowden, and I will be rambling about any and everything. Different news stories that pop into my world. As I flip through the news, certain things strike me as absolutely ridiculous.

Some things strike me as interesting.

Something strike me as funny.

I love sports.

I love cars.

So I don't know where that stuff's going to go.

And it's about time I started podcasting.

Enough people have been ma mourned me about it.

I have seen enough psychos out there with a voice,

so hopefully I can do a little better than psycho.

That's what I'm aiming for on this podcast.

Some news, some funny, and better than psycho.

Wow, I'm aiming low.

Listen, I'm new at this, and I'm going to get better as it goes on.

I promise you.

There's going to be a little background music from the jazz world, because that's what I love.

But see, there was something you probably don't even care about.

And the other thing is, I'm going to try to keep it tight.

Listen, can you listen for more than a half hour?

No, I know you're going to get on a treadmill. You plan to do 30 minutes. You get caught up in a podcast. Next thing you know, you've been on there an hour and 10 minutes. I'm not going to make you work that hard. I'm going to keep it tight. I'm going to just look at this stuff. We'll go through it and see where it goes. So let me start with something that struck me as interesting in the past week.
