but now an Orthodox priest serving at Archangel Gabriel Orthodox Church in Lafayette, Louisiana.

And those members of the body which we think to be less honorable,

on these we bestow greater honor,

and our unpresentable parts have greater modesty,

but our presentable parts have no need.

Yeah, so St. Paul is saying that the parts of ours that we don't display publicly right our body parts

that we don't go and display publicly and that we attribute modesty to right it's not that those are

not important parts of our body someone could say oh well you're ashamed of this part of your body. That's why you keep it covered. But that doesn't make it unimportant. Right. It kind of implies the covering that is honoring it.

Right. Because the fact that we're covering it and protecting it is because it's important.

But so the analogy being, right, that a lot of those tasks and gifts and ministries may not be the desirable ones that we're proud of.

When the bishop comes to visit, you know, the first person we present to a visit,

this is the man who scrubbed the toilets.

But that doesn't mean that that job is not important.

But if you had a saintly member of the church,

he might be the very one who volunteers to.

Exactly.

Exactly.

So this might be the holiest person in the whole church because he's willing to take the job no one else wants and is humble about it.

And isn't going to get any glory for it.

He could be the most, right, the most important person in the church.
