And before we get started, we need to pray for Patrick Matthews again.

Let me read you a text I got from Valerie this afternoon.

She says I was able to bring Patrick home last night, but after only a couple of hours,

he slumped over and was unresponsive. So I had to call 911. The ambulance took him back

to Queens where he then had a cardiac arrest. So they said that had we not called 911,

and had he not been at Queens when it happened,

we would have lost him. So it is now a heart issue along with the infection and they are again

looking at valve damage. He is awake and stable for now so they are doing the usual things

to see what is wrong. I have

canceled my flight to Seattle so I can be here. So we really need to pray this this

precious couple has been through so much and Patrick has just been through it. So

let's just petition the throne if you would join with me.

Loving Heavenly Father, we're so thankful once again that we can come to you as the great physician

and petition your throne on behalf of our brother Patrick,

who has just really had what appears to be a major setback. And Lord, we're just thankful that

he was rushed back to the hospital and that he's at least okay for now. But Lord,

we fully recognize the seriousness of his condition and want to just ask you for a healing

touch from your mighty hand. I want to ask you, Lord, to give the physician's wisdom

that they'll be able to properly diagnose what the problem is and treat it successfully

and swiftly, really. So Lord, we just commend him into your hands and

pray Lord that you would keep him for us and us for him. And for both Patrick and Valerie

and the girls as well. Lord, we just pray that you'll encourage and strengthen their hearts in Jesus' name. Amen.
