Calvary Church is dedicated to doctrine, and we want you to experience the life change that comes from knowing God's word and applying it to your life.

So we explain the Bible verse by verse, every chapter, every book, this is expound.

Turn in your Bibles to First Chronicles Chapter 15.

Now if you're new here, somebody may need to help you find First Chronicles Chapter 15,

and that's okay. They'll be happy to do that. But this is a Bible study. This is nothing fancy. I am not preaching on Wednesday nights. I am

teaching. It is instruction. And Jesus said, go into all the world and teach them to be my disciples.

So this is discipleship. This is how we take you through the scriptures, the oracles, the principles

of God, and try to see how they apply to our lives. We will be here until the time runs

out. Our practice is to start where we left off, go until the time's up, close the book, pick up next time,

and we work our way that way through the entire Bible, from Genesis to Revelation.

And what we will do is we will sometimes go back and forth.

So we did a couple of books in the New Testament.

Now we're back in the Old

Testament, and we are in First Chronicles. We are in Chapter 15. Let's play catch-up a little bit.

In Chapter 13, we get a glimpse into David's heart.

He wanted to bring the Ark of the Covenant,

that box that was in the tabernacle,

into the capital city of his new kingdom,

the city of Jerusalem.

He wanted to make the priority God at the center of his people.

That's an admirable thing.

David was a man after God's own heart.
