Well, good evening everybody, welcome.

Just by way of a building update update I wanted to mention that we

continue to cover your prayers for the finances that we need in order to cross the finish

line as it were to borrow a sports metaphor in time for the Olympics that are going on.

For those of you who have given, we want to thank you, and especially those who continue to give.

We're moving forward by faith, trusting God to provide.

We are so close.

I mean, we are so on the home stretch stretch and we are getting as much done as we

can as fast as we can and are really looking forward to Lord willing being in the building as soon as we can

which could be even as early as October. So again, we really covet your prayers in that regard.

So with that, let's get into our study. First Chronicles, chapters 10 and 11 tonight. We're

going to do two chapters. Actually, chapter 10 is kind of a short chapter. So on Thursday nights,

we continue to make our way through the Old

Testament book by book and chapter by chapter verse by verse. So why don't we pray and we'll get started.

Loving Heavenly Father, we're wanting to posture ourselves before you this evening humbly and

simply we want to be teachable tonight as you minister to us in and through your word. We want to have ears

to hear as you do speak and we don't want to just hear. We want to heed. Take heed to your word

so that we're not merely hearers but doers of your word. So Lord, minister to us, we pray.
