With that, let's get into the Word. So wow, you guys are here tonight and you knew that we're going to be doing nine chapters of genealogies in First Chronicles.

You guys have treasures in heaven, man, I'm telling you. So here's the deal. We're going to open with prayer. We're going to jump right in.

You're going to have to bear with me. I will not read every single name. I will spare you, I will be merciful to you.

I tried to time it tonight to see how long it would take,

to read every single name and every word in all nine chapters. And I realize that we'd be here till about 1 a.m.

So we're not going to do that to you, all right. So anyway, we're just going to do

the best we can and but very interesting, believe it or not, in woven into these genealogies.

So really looking forward to what the Lord has. So why don't we pray? We'll ask God's

blessing on our time together

in His Word. Loving Heavenly Father, we are so very thankful to you for your Word and even chapters

like this that we have before us tonight here in your word.

Lord, we're needing though tonight because of what's in these chapters, we're needing

for you by the Holy Spirit to really give us clarity of thought, give us an alertness, and quicken our hearts. And Lord, get our attention

and keep our attention, and don't let us wander, because we don't want to miss anything

that is here in your word. We know that every word is there for a reason. And so Lord, we're

trusting that you'll minister to us that reason tonight. We pray in Jesus' name. Amen.
