I'm lucky today to be joined by Armin Navarbi, who is the founder of Atheist Republic

and an atheist campaigner who specializes, I believe, in sort of ex-Muslim activism.

Is that a fair assessment, would you say, Amin?

Yeah. I mean, Atheist Republic as a whole focus, you know, does all religion and also other forms of dogma and superstition as well.

But yeah, I know more about Islam because I'm an ex-Muslim. I do try to learn as much as possible about other religions as well, though.

Sure. Well, it's good to speak to you because a lot of people who do the kind of thing that I do on my YouTube channel, they tend to be in a similar position but towards Christianity. They know more about, like I can speak for myself, I know a lot more about Christianity than other religions, so it's something I'll talk about a lot.

So it's good to speak to someone who's kind of swayed the other way.

The reason that I originally wanted to reach out to you, Amman, we've spoken before. There was one

time on a podcast, I think, with genetically modified skeptic. And we spoke briefly. And then I

recognized you at an event. I was at the London event with Jordan Peterson, Sam Harris and Douglas Murray.

And I looked behind the barrier and I saw a familiar face and we kind of caught each other's eyes and had a wave but didn't get to probably speak to you.

But then I was really surprised as a student, because I'm

currently at university, when I opened my student newspaper to find your face on the front cover.

And I thought, what's going on here? This is not the kind of thing that the Cherwell would

usually post. And that's my student newspaper at Oxford. And I saw that there was a wonderful

piece in there about your story and your activism.

And you posted about it on social media and you seem very proud of it.

And then a few days later, I go onto Twitter and I see you accusing that magazine, that

that newspaper of cowardice.

And I mean, what on your end here, what happened?
