This is our January 9th, 2023 edition of Invest Talk.

We're moving into the second trading week of the year and one thing is certain that you

are trying to make the most of your capital, everyone is.

You work hard in order to save consistently and that's a huge part of it.

If you've mastered that part, then you're able to focus on the next part, which is the

investment site.

I emphasize this because two people skip ahead and they focus too much on the investment

site because that's sexy, it's fun, it's interesting.

It's a reason I love what I do.

But savings is the boring part, the more difficult part, well, difficult in some senses.

But it's crucial.

There's a reason why most people's retirement assets are held in their 401k or the

403v or TSP is because it's systematic, it's automatic.

You don't think about it, never hit your bank account, you don't see it to go spend it.
