So this week we returned to the political story of Blighty as it will not be known for another

1200 years or more.

It's a bit messy, but we kind of left the world of Anglo-Saxon politics with the defeat

of Pender by Oswoo of Northumbria, and with his son, Wolfherr, being spirited away under

the thick, protective cloak of Klaus Wolfher, and the loyalty of Pender Staines, Imin, Aeifer

and Aedbert.

Over three years, Messier lived under the iron boot of Northumbria in the form of direct

rule by Oswoo.

But the force was stronger Messier, and by 658, Wolfherr's Thaines had raised rebellion

and reestablished the independent house of Messier.
