In this episode of Plenary Session, I'm going to talk about a few things, two of which I was dragged into.

0:15.0

One, post-publication metrics of randomized clinical trials with and without null findings.

0:21.2

This is a research letter that appeared in JMA.

0:23.4

I'm going to take you through it.

0:24.9

Next, I'm going to talk about a paper that appeared in JAMA Network Open.

0:29.0

JAMA No.

0:30.0

Association of Primary Care Clinic appointment time with clinician ordering and patient completion

0:33.8

of breast and colorectal cancer screening.

0:36.6

This is a paper that's gotten a lot of publicity,

0:39.1

including a provocative headline in the New York Times that says, don't see your doctor in the

0:44.2

afternoon. Finally, I'm going to talk about a wonderful paper by Alex Drillin and colleagues that was

0:50.1

featured on the Twitter feed of Greg Riley. It's a great story, and I really enjoyed

0:54.5

this paper. It's called exceptional responders with invasive mucinous adenocarcinomas, a phase

0:58.6

two trial of Bortesim have been patients with KRAS G12D mutant lung cancers. This is a unique

1:04.2

story because the authors here did something that a lot of other people wouldn't do, which is

1:09.0

they decided to take a hypothesis and put it to

1:11.7

the test. They deserve a lot of credit here, and they have gone above and beyond the call of duty,

1:16.7

and in doing so, they have set the standard for what many others should do. You won't want to miss

1:21.6

this discussion. But first, I'm going to start with a little correction that was raised to my

1:26.0

attention by an astute listener.

1:28.3

And finally, I have an interview with no other than Christopher Booth.
