If you study history, if you study evolution, suckers get screwed.

Do you want to know who a good person to work for is? Well, the beginning is,

every time you need your paycheck, is it there? It's a great thing. You could have an

impossible. I love having you as an employee. You're great. But then when payroll comes around,

oh my god, I just can't make payroll this time. I'm a new entrepreneur. I can't do it sorry about you.

No, they don't really care about you. Because if they cared about you, they'd realize you got

bills to pay. Now there's laws that ensure most employers don't do that, especially in the US.

But outside the US, it happens all the time. I saw the US that happened all the time. But you'll

lend somebody money. You ever lend somebody money? They don't give you a back? They got the money.

They just love themselves more than you. So they prioritize their own stuff over your stuff.

So I don't want to sound like the most pessimistic message because the upside of this is,

once you learn to discern the want-want-want for the true words, you'll start finding true

allies in life. Whether it be in love, friendship, business, you'll start finding the people.

They don't say that much. They just do stuff. They're just there. They just get stuff done.

Then literally, you entrepreneurs will have 30 employees. You give them the same task. One will

disproportionately accomplish whatever you set the whole group out to do. In fact, Steve Jobs,

founder of Apple, said in his experience, one good person often replaces 50 to 100 employees.

That's the ratio. So in life, you're better off with three true friends than 300 acquaintances.

Really, now you can have acquaintances and acquaintances is like a win-win out of the people who

are true friends. But man, think about politics. I can't believe the amount of people that

listen to campaign promises. They literally watch the political debates as if this is any

prediction of what is about to happen over the next four years. It's completely uncorrelated.
