I'm going to read Judges Chapter 11, verses 30 and 31, and then verse 34.

0:11.0

So first, verses 30 and 31.

0:13.8

And Jephtha made a vow to the Lord and said,

0:17.7

If you will give the Ammonites into my hand,

0:21.0

then whatever comes out from the doors of my house to meet me when I return in peace from

0:26.2

the Ammonites shall be the Lord's, and I will offer it up for a burnt offering.

1:46.3

offer it up for a burn offering. So verse 34 says, then Jephtha came to his home at MISBA,

1:52.4

and behold, his daughter came out to meet him with tambourines and with dances. She was his only

2:00.7

child. Besides her, he had neither son nor daughter.

2:06.2

And the rest of the chapter goes on to describe how Jeptha did what he had said he would do,
