Wack Hello, Joshua. Hello, Rabbi, and it's been a long time. Long time no seat.

It has been a long time. Last few quiet weeks of August,

everyone in my family is going back to school this week. I hate to say summer is over,

but it does seem that summer is over. Yes. It feels back to school on many levels.

How's play practice?

That's a very cute way to put it. That sounds like a kickball.

Kickball practice is going great.

Wait, what do you call it? Rehearsal? Yes. But practice is cute.

Fantastic. During my time off, I've been completely subsumed creatively working on this fantastic new play that will open soon at San Diego's All-Glob theater. If you're listening and anywhere near San Diego, check out the Old

Globe. I will be in a play called What We Talk About when we talk about Anne Frank. It is a very

funny and very serious at the same time, deeply Jewish play play by Nathan Englander, who's a superb writer.
