There are negotiations right now where there were negotiations in the Senate among this bipartisan

group of senators who may have a bill on the border before the Senate this week.

The president put out a statement a few days ago that said that this bill would shut

down the border when it becomes overwhelmed

and if given that authority I would use it the day I signed the bill into law.
