On a Bowling Green, Kentucky, people are experiencing a weather phenomenon called frostquakes.

Well, that's weird.

Frostquakes occur after moisture seeps into the ground and freezes.

The recent winterstorm produced plenty of rain,

which ended up by supplying the groundwater.

The water then freezes, putting pressure on the surrounding soil and bedrock.

The pressure builds up.

The rock and soil crack makes a big boom.

And it might shake a little bit.

So it feels like you're in an earthquake, although they're more isolated. Frost crack. Frost quakes. Oh, quake, okay. Mostly pretty harmless, but can be startling if you don't know what's going on. Have there actually been trees exploding up north? I heard talk of this during this winter storm that Dave... There's video of... I saw a video. I don't know if it's real or not.

I saw a video before the storm of some trees exploding. So it does happen. I don't know

the current storm did that or not. What causes trees to explode? I think it was just the

extreme temperature. Same thing. Moister expands. Yeah, there's video of these trees

and these woods just exploding, exploding.

That seems like biblical.
